Earths rotation makes night and day about the same length the closer you live to Equator.

In the mainland of Greenland the sun doesn't set from the end of May until the end of July. People even have special curtains for these months.

Ever heard of the midnight sun???

Its a natural phenomenon that occurs in the summer months in places north of the Arctic Circle or south of the Antarctic Circle, when the sun remains visible at the local midnight.

I also live in Denmark myself, and even though its not that far north we are affected. In the winter its only light outside from around 8am till 3-4 in the afternoon.. and in the summer its also only really dark for a few hours..

The only smart people there seems to be the computer geeks and math sections for different types of math questions and understandings of formulas.
